How to delete an XML Sitemap from Google Webmaster search console

How can I delete an old sitemap from Google search console. I see the "Submit" button, but do not anything for removing a sitemap.

Follow these steps to delete a sitemap from Google search console:

• Login to Google Search Console.
• Click on "Sitemaps" under the "Index" present on the left menu. It will show all sitemaps of your website.
• Click on the sitemap that you wish to remove. It will take you to a new page.
• Besides "OPEN SITEMAP" on the top right corner, you will find 3 dots button. Click the 3 dots button to see the "Remove sitemap" button.

• Click on the "Remove sitemap" button. If will show a popup asking "Cancel" or "Remove". Select "Remove" and your sitemap will be deleted.
